Acura essentially serves as the performance and luxury arm of Honda.
We've spent the last 30 years obsessing over it. Breaking rules and building cars with a conviction others would probably call crazy. But that's how you do things when you're young.
From crossover to supercar - the precise lines, muscular appearance, wide stance - every contour enhances efficiency, increases downforce or aids cooling. It's what defines Precision Crafted Performance.
It is a stand-alone company in its own right, but the models that it offers are generally based upon the same architecture as models offered by Honda. To help create a difference between the two brands, Acura vehicles offer better performance and fairly luxurious interiors - two things that often push cars sporting the Acura badge toward the sportier end of their respective segments. Acura does offer some models and technological advances that aren't found on Honda vehicles, a prime example of which is the Acura NSX and its twin-turbo, hybrid V-6.

As well as the world's leading motorcycle producer, Honda is one of the largest car manufacturers. The brand continues to work independently of other car brands, apart from its Acura luxury indent sold in some markets such as North America.
