The Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is an automotive industry employer association that protects and promotes the interests of its members through advocacy initiatives and the provision of automotive industry products and services.

Founded in 1918, VACC today provides its members with access to a suite of support measures that assist them in running modern automotive businesses.

VACC members have access to Australia's largest automotive technical library, with extensive digital and printed collections of service and repair information across most vehicles in the Australian fleet.

VACC provides members with automotive-specific advice and assistance in human resources, industrial relations, occupational health, safety and environment regulation training and compliance.

The Chamber employs more than 500 automotive apprentices through its group apprenticeship scheme, VACC Automotive Apprenticeships, facilitating placement with host employers in the industry.

With 15 Industry Divisions, VACC sits across all automotive sectors, including passenger vehicles, motorcycles, heavy vehicles and farm machinery, in the retail, service, repair and manufacturing environments.

Through elected boards and committees, members set the policy agenda and lead VACC staff with automotive industry insights. Paired with the research capability and advocacy arms, VACC works collectively to resolve issues affecting all automotive industry sectors.

VACC boasts a Research Department, which positions VACC as the automotive industry intelligence hub.

VACC's national commercial arm, OurAuto, offers business insurance, website development and digital marketing solutions, technical information, business consumables - while alliances with trusted key suppliers provide members with access to products and services at preferential rates.

VACC membership allows access to important business support services that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive to resource or access. Members can also leverage the power and expertise of VACC and its well-known brand in business marketing initiatives.
